PRESENTER's GUIDE

Presentations for the IEEE ICP2024 will be held in classroom-style meeting rooms. 
Each presenter will be briefly introduced by the Session Chair before the presentation.

Submitted papers 10 minutes presentation
5 minutes questions and answers.
Invited speakers 25 minutes presentation
5 minutes questions and answers.
Sponsors 10 minutes presentation
5 minutes questions and answers.
The Session Chair will signal time limits with a bell:
  • Contributed papers: once at 7 minutes, and twice at 10 minutes
  • Invited Speakers: once at 22 minutes, and twice at 25 minutes
Presentation Preparation and Delivery
Content: Presenters should prepare their slides carefully, ensuring the content is clear, concise, and provides an overview of the key principles, facts, and results. Detailed discussions can continue with session attendees during the breaks.
Technical Setup:
  • Session Location: Familiarize yourself with the location and time of your session in advance and obtain directions to the meeting room.
  • Arrival: Arrive 15 minutes before the session starts to introduce yourself to the Session Chair.
  • Equipment: A laptop, projector, and screen will be available in the session room. A clicker/pointer will also be provided.bmission track (Invited or submitted paper).
Presentation File:
  • Format: Prepare your presentation in MS PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX) or Adobe PDF format and save it on a USB thumb drive.
  • Upload: Upload your presentation onto the session room laptop at least 10 minutes before your session starts. You may also upload it earlier during coffee or lunch breaks on any preceding day. A volunteer will be present to assist you. Ensure that your presentation file is successfully uploaded and functions properly with the provided software.
Avoiding compatibility issues
Format: Use MS PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX) or Adobe PDF format.
Embedded Videos: We cannot provide support for embedded videos. Avoid using links to YouTube or other web services. Test your presentation on the on-site laptop in advance to ensure it works as expected.
Fonts: Only fonts included in the basic installation of MS Windows will be available. Using other fonts may result in incorrect layout or style.
